Word Filled Wednesday

Then He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, "Dry bones hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you and you will come to life. Ezekiel 37 4&5

Ezekiel was a prophet of God who had a vision one day about a valley of dry bones. In the vision God led him back and forth among the bones that were very very dry. Then God asked Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?" To which Ezekiel replied wisely, "Sovereign Lord, you alone know."

Then God told Ezekiel to do a very powerful thing. He said speak to those bones and tell them to hear the word of the Lord. He told Ezekiel to send His word to those dry bones so that they may live.

God is telling us the same thing today on this Wonderful Word Filled Wednesday. Whatever areas in our lives are dry and practically dead we should speak the word of the Lord to them.

If we are sick, we can speak God's healing. By Christ stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

If we're in lack, we can speak God's provision. The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. (Psalm 23)

If we are weak today, we can speak God's strength. The joy of the Lord is my strength.(Nehemiah 8:10)

Whatever you and I face today, whatever area of our lives is dry we can prophesy to it.
"You shall live and not die to declare the glory of God."(Psalm 118:17)

The word says in Ezekiel 37:10 "So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet - a vast army." God doesn't just give life, He gives abundant life. You can trust and rely on His word for all that you desire today.

Get in agreement with God and His word and see your life start to turn around.

Blessings,
Vickie

There's just nothing to equal God's word! How often I've found myself pouring over it when trouble comes calling, and within a short time trouble is leaving swiftly. He does all things well!

Beautiful.

Vickie, your previous post led into this so well. You said, "We must go through dry seasons to come into the spring of our lives." Just like Ezekiel's bones, our dry bones can walk again. Thanks for the reminder.
